Mission 2019: Congress eyes 30 Lok Sabha seats in UP
Lucknow: Congress has a special look at nearly two and a half dozen Lok Sabha seats in the state. Without waiting for the coalition, the party has asked the leaders fighting for these seats to make preparations. These Lok Sabha seats are those on which the party is expected to get results.
In the meeting of the first Central Working Committee, led by Congress President Rahul Gandhi, in the last few days, the ideological stamp was on the massive coalition of opposition parties against the BJP. In the political circles, it is discussed that in the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019, Congress will be included in the coalition of SP, BSP and National Lok Dal. But before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there are assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh territories. The government of all three states has BJP.
In such a way, before the UP, the opposition coalition elections in these states is a test. The eyes are on whether the Congress is successful in combating the BSP or any other political party in these states. The turn of the UP will come after this. The party has given all the attention to contest elections in two and a half dozen seats, including Padrauna, Kanpur, Barabanki, Dhaurah, Faizabad. Party leaders have been cleared that do not react to the statements made by the other party leaders on the coalition.
