Varanasi: Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the country’s first multi-modal terminal
Varanasi: On the occasion of Chhath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Monday for facilitating the projects of billions of Rupees. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya welcomed him here. During this, PM Modi inaugurated the country’s first multi-modal terminal.
The traffic of large vessels of 1500 to 2000 tons can be possible through this terminal built on the cost of crores rupees. At the same time, while introducing India’s first containerized movement on Inland Waterways, PM flagged off this from Ramnagar port of Varanasi.
CM Yogi congratulated PM Narendra Modi for giving Rs 2.5 billion to Kashi. He said that four years ago, there was a network of jams and hanging wires in Kashi, but it has been rejuvenated in the last four years. I thank the PM from the people of Uttar Pradesh.
The Prime Minister landed at the Jetty of Ramnagar Multi-Modal Terminal at 3 a.m. helicopter. After the release of the Multi-Modal Terminal, he will go to Babatpur Airport. From here, he will address a public meeting by reaching Wajidpur village of Harihua.
During this, Modi will inaugurate a total of 10 schemes including Kachhari Babtpur Farlen, Harhua from Ring Road, 3 Sewage Pumping Station, MLD Chowk Ghat, Dinapur STP to Hathua.
Along with this, the foundation for construction of helipads in Ramnagar, drain and treatment work, Wavatarara BHU pavement road and Domari of Ramnagar.
