CM visits SGPGI, enquires about Kalyan’s health
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences on Tuesday afternoon to enquire about the health of Kalyan Singh, who is admitted in the ICU.
Doctors say Singh’s health has shown a slight improvement.
A senior leader of the BJP said that Kalyan Singh opened his eyes and gave a mild reaction when the chief minister asked “how are you”.
Compared to the previous days, there was a slight improvement in Kalyan Singh’s health, doctors attending the leader said.
SGPGIMS Director Prof RK Dhiman said that the blood pressure and heart rate of the former chief minister of UP were under control.
A panel of experts from nephrology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology and neuro ontology departments has been formed to treat Singh. On Monday Prime Minister Narendra Modi had enquired about Singh’s health. Modi had also spoken to Rajveer Singh, the parliamentarian son of Kalyan Singh.
Former Governor of Rajasthan and veteran BJP leader Kalyan Singh was admitted to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow late on Saturday night, from where he was shifted to SGPGIMS on Sunday evening after his condition turned critical. On Sunday too Yogi Adityanath had visited RMLIMS to enquire about the health of Kalyan Singh along with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
