Second dose must to prevent Covid: Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

BHOPAL: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Monday that only the second dose of vaccine is the guarantee of safety to prevent Covid-19. “It is not over yet. People need to be alert to avoid the infection of the deadly virus. Vaccination is the only effective way to prevent it.
Those who have received the first dose of the vaccine must certainly get the second dose,” said the chief minister during an online review from his residence about Covid control and vaccination situation in Madhya Pradesh, with the officers incharge of the districts.

Chouhan said that the officers in-charge should prepare an effective action plan for protection from corona and for vaccination. “Work seriously to ensure that everyone gets the second dose. Prepare an action plan in three days according to the circumstances in coordination with the district collector. After reviewing this action plan, the target of vaccination will be fixed,” he said.

Chouhan said that a mega campaign will be conducted to administer the second dose of vaccine for the control of Covid. Just as everyone has worked actively for administering the first dose, in the same way, work very seriously for the second dose.
