Wrestlers from Madhya Pradesh will be seen in Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Dangal’ whose trailer was released on Thursday.
Reportedly, the film features Indore’s young wrestler and NIS coach Virendra Nichit in the role of a referee. Apart from his, Shyam Yadav and Suraj Chauhan will also be seen in the film as a wrestler and referee respectively.
As per them, bagging a role in the film is very special as it will contribute in helping wrestling gain recognition.
Aamir Khan will be seen portraying the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. He had received a special training in wrestling for the film and even learnt Harayanvi.
Apart from Khan, the film features Rajkumar Rao and Sakshi Tanwar in pivotal roles.
The movie is slated to release on December 23.
