After the central government, UP Yogi also reduced the price of petrol and diesel
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government announced today the reduction of petrol and diesel prices by Rs 2.5 per liter, while giving relief to the troubled consumers by touching the historical height of oil prices. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced this in the press conference after the decision of the central government to reduce the cost of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.5 per liter. This will reduce the prices of petrol and diesel in the state by Rs 5 a liter.
The Chief Minister said that the Central Government has announced a reduction of 2.5 rupees for fuel prices. So the Uttar Pradesh government has also decided to reduce the prices of such rupees in oil prices. For the past several days it was demanding that efforts should be made to reduce the increase in oil prices. He said that Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country. The consumption is also the highest. In this state, there has been no additional tax on the price for the last several years, but the Government has taken this decision to help the general public.
In Uttar Pradesh, the price of oil is less compared to many states in the country. With this deduction, we will have an annual loss of 400 crores, but we have taken this step in the interest of the public. This reduction in petrol and diesel prices will provide a great relief to consumers. In Lucknow today, the price of petrol was Rs 83.35 and the price of diesel was 75.63 rupees, which has historically touched the height. Former Union Finance Minister Jaitley announced a relief of Rs 2.5 per liter in Delhi on diesel and petrol. He also called the state governments to make such a reduction in VAT.
