Aishwarya Rai may not have done a movie in over two years, but she still continues to command a fandom only a few have witnessed before. The actor walked the ramp at Paris Fashion Week on behalf of her brand L’Oreal Paris on Monday, wearing a Manish Malhotra ensemble studded with thousands of diamonds.
But it’s not just her walk that’s caught the internet’s attention. A viral video, shared queer influencer Aditya Madiraju, who lives in the US, bumped into Aishwarya backstage at the Paris Fashion Week. “The queen of our hearts… @thisisamitshah It was a dream meeting you @aishwaryaraibachchan_arb… Thank you @lorealparis .. this is unreal,” he posted on his Instagram handle.

Aditya confessed to Aishwarya that he and his husband Amit are together because of her. Aishwarya responded with a “What!” “My husband and I, on our first date, we spoke about you for two hours. And he was like, ‘I married you because you like Aishwarya’. That’s what he told me. His name is Amit and that’s our daughter, Yana,” said Aditya, showing Aishwarya the picture of his husband and daughter on his smartphone.
“Bless… Oh my god… How old is she?,” Aishwarya asked, to which Aditya responded, “She’s two and half years old… Yana basically means God is gracious in Hebrew.” “It has been a dream to even see you in person and you look even more stunning. The actress you are, the dancer you are, the woman you are,” he added.

“Thank you for all your love. And what you said earlier to me, that is beautiful. Bless your daughter, big love to you and your husband,” said Aishwarya, before gifting a lipstick to Aditya. “You do magic with makeup. So here, add this to your treasure chest,” she said, before bidding her goode.
A day before, Aishwarya had also comforted a crying fan she met outside her hotel. The female fan, who had been waiting for Aishwarya, finally approached the actor for a picture once she stepped out. Visibly emotional, the fan began crying. Aishwarya wiped her tears, hugged her, and asked her to breathe deeply and smile for the picture. Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, who accompanied her mother to Paris, patiently waited in the car as Aishwarya greeted the fan.

Aishwarya interacted not only with fans, but also with international actors. British actor-model Cara Delevingne was seen rushing to hug Aishwarya, who returned the favour warmly. A picture of Bridgerton actor Simon Ashley and Aishwarya posing together for the camera is also doing the rounds online.
