Legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Hema Malini will star in a serial based on the Himalayan Shrine of Kedarnath Temple.
Reportedly, the show will also star singers such as Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Kailash Kher.
Earlier on Tuesday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat launched the promotional song of the serial based on the Himalayan Shrine of Kedarnath Temple along with singer Kailash Kher.
The serial which seeks to tell people about the religious significance of the shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva has been jointly made by Uttarakhand government and Kher.
The song was launched by Rawat at his residence last night.
Titled “Baba Kedar”, the series will be divided into 12 episodes with eight devotional songs including the promotional track “Jai Jai Kedara”, the chief minister said at the launch.
