Avengers star Josh Brolin thought he was having an affair with Taylor Swift; reveals lening to her while driving alone: ‘She’s special’ | Hollywood News

Even though Taylor Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, opened to mixed reviews, but reigned on the charts, again emphasising her popularity among the fans. Swift’s songs have been a part of pop culture for quite some time and have been used for several shows and movies. Actor Josh Brolin recently talked about Swift’s impact on his life and how his daughter’s obsession with the singer soon found itself latching onto him.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Brolin walked out wearing a full head-to-toe uniform of the baseball team LA Dodgers. Brolin was celebrating the Dodgers winning the World Series after they beat the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 7 of the MLB World Series. Brolin then changed back to his normal clothes and revealed that he had to miss the final moments of the match because he had to bring his two young daughters back home. Brolin also stated that this repetitive duty of his is what led to him discovering the film K-Pop Demon Hunters.

“At one point it seemed that the Jays were going to win it. So I drove the kids home, and then when we reached, I said to my wife, ‘Just check the score, just to be sure.’ She looked at me and said, ‘One minute ago the Dodgers won.’ I mean, my youngest two daughters are 7 and 4, and they needed to go home. They needed to watch K-Pop Demon Hunters.”
He continued, “My 7-year-old just had a birthday party, and my youngest had to leave because she got sick. So I brought her home, and I put on Demon Hunters. I thought to myself, ‘This is the last thing I want to do,’ and the end of it, I was bawling at the end.” He then mentioned his daughters are obsessed with singers like Olivia Rodrigo, Tracy Abrams and Taylor Swift.
He said, “I mean every time I take them to school, they are like, ‘Can we len to Taylor? Then while coming back we are playing Taylor. If we take a trip, we are lening to Taylor.” He continued, “One day I was driving back alone, and I almost felt empty without Taylor Swift. I missed her in my bones, and it was like I had an affair with her. So I put her songs on, and I felt complete once again.”
