A Gurgaon-based founder has sparked a discussion online after sharing a video of a waterlogged road outside his home following about an hour of rain. Look at this, so beautiful. Looks so good. Right? I’m getting the Venice experience,” Chaudhary said sarcastically.He went on to say that his company employs around 250 people and operates as an online business. Pointing to the taxes paid businesses and individuals, he said, “We generate GST, then pay corporate tax on the company’s profit, then after that we pay income tax on our income, then pay road tax on buying a car, and pay GST when we buy other things.”Expressing frustration over the condition of the road, he added, “Man, at least fix the services, right? Like, what is the excuse for this?”Founder talks about moving to DubaiChaudhary then questioned why entrepreneurs should continue operating from the city if basic infrastructure remained inadequate.“Like, if you were in my place, what would you do? Won’t you think, ‘Man, let me shift to Dubai. I have an offer for a Golden Visa too. I’ll go there.’ I am a creator. I have a, you know, decent company that runs online, so we’ll run it online from there,” he said.He argued that such a move would also mean shifting jobs and profits elsewhere, adding, “Then we’ll take our jobs there as well, right? And shift our profits there too, then the government will get even less tax, plus the brain drain separately.”Referring to high property prices in the area, he claimed that a 200-square-yard house opposite his residence had been sold for ₹6 crore. “Please fix this, man.
