CM gets over 5 lakh followers on Koo

The number of followers of the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on the ‘Koo’ app has crossed the 5 lakh-mark in 100 days. Joining the app in February this year, Yogi has been connecting with his followers on a daily basis by sharing his thoughts multiple times a day. He follows eight people on Koo, mainly Union ministers and some prominent personalities.

Co-founder of Koo Aprameya Radhakrishna said on Monday, “We are happy to see the traction that Yogi ji received on the platform. Our vision is to connect India and enable free expression among citizens. Hindi is one of our most spoken languages and Yogi ji has a large fan following from this belt that want to connect with him. They feel at home on Koo because it has one of the largest Hindi speaking communities in the world. With our plans of growing to 100 million users, Yogi ji would surpass his following on other social media platforms very soon.”

Another co-founder of Koo Mayank Bidawatka said “Yogi ji has a huge fan following in India. I’m happy to see him garner a lot of followers on Koo. He connects very well with India’s Hindi speaking population. They want to stay connected with him and feel at home on Koo to consume his thoughts in Hindi and interact with him in their mother tongue. We are happy to see him cross the 5 lakh-mark in just 100 days.”
