Durga Puja, BJP workers will play brick with brick of secretariat: Shah
Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Saturday said that allegations related to the Trinamool Congress National Citizen Register (NRC) are fabricated and baseless and its aim is to prevent illegal intrusion. Shah, while addressing a rally here, said that the allegations against the Trinamool Congress for targeting NRC and targeting Hindu refugees through them are concocted and baseless.
The BJP president said, ‘During the Durga Puja, the immersion of Durga statue was stopped and Saraswati Puja was stopped in schools. If the BJP government comes, it will be done in every situation. If Dagapuja was stopped the next time, then the BJP worker Mamta Banerjee’s Secretariat will play brick with brick.
Shah said that the responsibility of putting the refugees here is of the Indian Government. He said that regardless of protest, NRC operations will be continued as NRC is the only way that intrusion can be stopped. He sought support from the people who had joined this rally to which the people were fully satisfied.
