Aisha actor Amrita Puri buys luxury apartment in Mumbai worth Rs 37 crore, pays Rs 2.22 cr as stamp duty | Bollywood News

Actor Amrita Puri, known for her role in Sonam Kapoor’s Aisha (2010), and her family have bought luxury apartment worth Rs 37 crore in Mumbai, as per property regration documents reviewed Square Yards. The real estate investment, located on the 49th floor of Lodha World Towers in Lower Parel.
According to the documents, it is measured over 5,446 sq ft. The documents also show that Amrita’s luxury apartment was regered on April 30, 2025, for which a stamp duty of Rs 2.22 crore and regration fees of Rs 30,000 were paid in advance. It was bought along with rights to four car parking spaces.
As per Square Yards, Lodha World Towers, constructed Macrotech Developers, also known as Lodha Group, is one of the tallest buildings in India. Lower Parel is known for being one of Mumbai’s prime residential and commercial hubs, offering premium living spaces and business dricts, including Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Nariman Point. Several Bollywood celebs such as Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, writer Amish Tripathi, and sports personality Zaheer Khan, have also purchased real estate properties in Lower Parel, as per Square Yards’ analysis of IGR property regration documents.

Recently, actor Akshay Kumar was also in the headlines for selling an office space in Lower Parel, Mumbai, for Rs 8 crore, according to property regration documents accessed Square Yards. The Kesari 2 actor had bought the property in 2020 for Rs 4.85 crore, which shows a 65% profit in its total valuation. The office, located in One Place Lodha, has a measured carpet area of 1,146 sq ft.
Amrita Puri is popular for movies like Aisha, Kai Po Che!, and Four More Shots Please! Meanwhile, on the work front, she was last seen in the Netflix thriller web series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack in 2024.
