I Know What You Did Last Summer trailer: The Southport Massacre is upon us again | Hollywood News

Not just in India, but even in the West, it is the season of re-releases and reboots. The latest to join this l is the popular 1990s slasher franchise, I Know What You Did Last Summer. The 2025 reboot is helmed Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, and stars Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Hauer-King, Chase Sui Wonders, and the cast of the OG film — Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prince Jr.
The makers released the trailer of the film, which centres around a new set of friends, who are involved in a pact of no return. A pact that follows a car accident, and well, most of us who have seen the original two films know what will happen. As Freddie’s character says in the trailer, “This isn’t the first time there’s been violence like this in Southport.” What follows is the establishment of the new set of youngsters, and the known presence of evil with a hook as a hand, and newer weapons at its disposal. And the trailer wonderfully culminates with Jennifer asking a few of them trying to find answers to the evil coming after them. “I just have one question. What did you do last summer?”
