West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that the BJP can conduct the Lok Sabha elections itself in December and claimed that the saffron party has ordered all the helicopters for campaigning.
Addressing a TMC youth gathering, Mamata Banerjee warned that the BJP’s third term would ensure that the nation would face “autocratic” rule.
The chief minister also blamed some persons involved in “illegal activities” for the illegal firecracker factory blasts in the state. He claimed that this was done “with the support of some policemen”.
If the BJP returns to power for a third consecutive term, the people would face autocratic rule. I am worried that they (BJP) might hold the Lok Sabha elections themselves in December or January next year,” she said.
“The saffron party has already made our country a nation suffering from inter-communal enmity. If they come back to power, it will make our country a nation of hatred,” she said.
