In Meeting No. 2 with Team Ajit Pawar’s Sharad Pawar “Was Silent” Once again

Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, visited Sharad Pawar, the head of the Nationalist Congress Party, a day earlier to seek his blessing. According to sources, the Sharad Pawar camp had talks in Delhi with their legal counsel in order to pass a resolution through MLAs.Even the legal staff is perplexed by the back-and-forth discussions, despite the fact that the legal opinion requested was to remain on the benches of the opposition.

 

According to the legal opinion, the MLAs from the Sharad Pawar camp were required to adopt a resolution to continue to be in the opposition and to present it to the Assembly Speaker today.Tomorrow’s significant NDA meeting in Delhi will be attended by Praful Patel and Ajit Pawar.

 

The rebel camp claimed that during their meeting with Sharad Pawar yesterday, they had asked the senior leader to prevent party division.Praful Patel had added, “After meeting him, we are heading back. Sharad Pawar didn’t speak to us; he just kept listening to what we had to say.

 

Sharad Pawar reportedly spoke to party members later in the day and stated unequivocally that he would keep up his “progressive politics” and never form a coalition with the BJP.Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the 82-year-old grandfather of the NCP has taken a major role in attempting to bring together other parties to oppose the incumbent BJP.Ajit Pawar’s departure from the Opposition and swearing-in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra caused the NCP to split earlier this month.

 

Last week, Ajit Pawar also went to his uncle’s house to meet with his aunt Pratibha Pawar, Sharad Pawar’s wife, who had recently undergone surgery. Ajit Pawar claims the backing of more NCP MLAs than Sharad Pawar.
