The Aditya Dhar film has earned Rs 351 crore at India box office after 10 days of release with a massive Rs 144 crore haul coming from its second weekend, which is the highest ever for an Indian film.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and R Madhavan, Dhurandhar earned Rs 59 crore on second Sunday, Rs 53 crore on second Saturday and Rs 32.5 crore on second Friday, as per Sacnilk.Story continues below this ad
With the film adding midnight shows on popular demand, it is looking at a strong second Monday as well. The film is likely to cross the Rs 400 crore mark Tuesday.
With its Sunday earning, Dhurandhar trumped 10th day box office records of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 38 crore) as well as Pushpa 2 (Rs 54 crore), Stree 2 (Rs 40 crore) and Animal (Rs 33 crore). All figures are for Hindi versions.
Directed Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar came out in theatres on December 5. It also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Soumya Trivedi. It is jointly produced Dhar and brother Lokesh Dhar through their banner B62 Studios alongside Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios.
