Man’s family members have the sweetest reactions to his transformation. Watch | Trending

Everyone goes through different journeys when they are out to accomplish something. Often posts about such achievements are inspiring. Just like this share on Instagram that details how a man went off the grid to continue his weight loss journey. The post also has a video that shows the reactions of his family and friends after seeing his transformation.Bryan O’Keeffe posted his story on Instagram along with the clip. “The one question I keep getting asked is – ‘How did I do it?’ Back in November, I finally got around to lening to a book that I bought 3 years ago @davidgoggins – Can’t Hurt Me which is essentially a series of lessons in becoming mentally tougher. This led me to decide to try to tackle my obesity in a completely different way. Instead of taking my usual path of least resance, what if I did the opposite,” he wrote. Then he explained in detail how the book helped him and how he decided to go off the grid to achieve his goal.“In 7 months, I never took a day off. I lost count of the amount of injuries I got but I refused to quit and just kept training through the pain. Every day, I just tried to do one more rep, one more length, one more kilometre – whatever I could do to get 1% better. When I started, I weighed in at over 24 stone (153Kg/338lbs). When I flew home for the surprises, I had lost almost 10 stone (63Kg/138lbs),” he explained. He also added a touch of hilarity while ending the post and shared, “Lastly… Yes I know… The man bun was horrific.”Take a look at the video that captures people’s reactions to seeing him after his transformation.

The video was posted two months ago. Since being shared, the clip has accumulated more than two million views and the numbers are only increasing. The share has also prompted people to post various comments. “Wow. You did a great job!! Oh but wait! Didn’t you have any everyday life obligations and responsibilities and family or animals you should care about? How come you could just leave for 7 months!? How did you pay for that?! How people do such things in real life and not in RPG and movies?!” asked an Instagram user. O’Keeffe replied to the comment and wrote, “I saved up beforehand and worked remotely for the first two months. I don’t have a partner or kids but I did have my dog with me. There’s always a way.” “I respect you and you inspire me. Love from India!,” commented another. “The reaction of the woman wearing the blue top was so sweet,” expressed a third. “Just one word, ‘Respect’,” posted a fourth.
