The Jolly LLB franchise has been quite loved the audience. The film’s first instalment in 2013 starred Arshad Warsi, the second one featured Akshay Kumar in the titular role, and now the third part brings both the Jollys to the same courtroom — presided as always Saurabh Shukla. Jolly LLB 3’s trailer has been released today, showcasing the rivalry between Arshad Warsi (Jolly Tyagi) and Akshay Kumar’s (Jolly Mishra) characters. As the courtroom drama gets intense, both the Jollys also seem to lighten the mood with their occasional punchlines. Saurabh Shukla reprises his role as Judge Tripathi, and he only seems to add to the entertainment.
The trailer begins on a serious note as it sets up the premise — a fight over land that has been owned families for generations, but now is being grasped an influential businessman, played Gajraj Rao. He hires Akshay’s character to fight his case, with Arshad Warsi standing against him in the courtroom. Huma Qureshi and Amrita Rao also reprise their roles in the third iteration of the film. The legal shenanigans of the two Jollys lead to much laughter, with Akshay trying to steal Arshad’s clients, only to get pranked.

Reacting to the trailer, a fan commented, “Part 3 feels like it has raised the stakes completely.” Another user commented, “The energy in this trailer is massive.” A fan also pointed out that Akshay as Jolly in Jolly LLB 3 is much better than Akshay as Jolly in Housefull 5.
In 2013, Jolly LLB had made Rs 46 crores worldwide. Jolly LLB 2, released in 2017 and featuring Akshay Kumar, went on to achieve massive success at the box office. The sequel had earned Rs 197.33 crores worldwide. Now, as both Arshad and Akshay return with their celebrated character, they promise double the drama and double the fun. Sharing the teaser on their Instagram accounts, both Akshay and Arshad wrote, “Jab 2 Jolly honge aamne saamne, toh hoga double-comedy, chaos, aur kalesh.”

The trailer for Jolly LLB 3 was launched at a grand event in Kanpur. Other than Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Gajraj Rao in important roles. Talking about the film, Arshad Warsi had said at the event, “The banter, the arguments, the tug-of-war, it’s all laced with comedy but also layered with heart. I think audiences are going to enjoy watching the fireworks between us.”
Directed Subhash Kapoor and produced Star Studio 18, Jolly LLB 3 is supposed to have a worldwide release on 19th September.
