Anushka Sharma was present in the stands to support husband Virat Kohli at the recent RCB vs PBKS match where RCB managed to win the first IPL qualifier of 2025. Anushka looked elated as Royal Challengers Bangalore made it to the IPL finals for the fourth time. This will be their first final at the Indian Premiere League since 2016. Fans have been sharing Anushka’s reactions on social media as she cheered for RCB with glee.
Virat has been associated with RCB since their first season in 2008 and it just so happens that Anushka comes from Bengaluru as she grew up in the city before she moved to Mumbai to pursue her career as an actor. While RCB’s fans had all the reasons to cheer, Punjab Kings, co-owned Preity Zinta, had a disappointing evening as they lost the match. They have previously reached one IPL final, back in 2014. After losing the match yesterday, they will compete for a spot in the final again against the winner of the eliminator match.
