CM Yogi holds Janata Darshan

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held Janata Darshan at his official residence on Monday after almost a year where he met people and listened to their grievances.

The chief minister took the applications from people and gave them to the officials concerned for immediate redressal.

“The Janata Darshan programme was held under strict Covid protocol and the people were made to sit at a distance. The chief minister personally went to each of them and listened to their complaint,” a government spokesman said. He said scores of people lined up with their grievances at the chief minister’s 5 Kalidas Marg official residence and he personally heard them.

“This was the first day after the revival of the Janata Darshan so the crowd was not that much. The word has spread and from tomorrow we are expecting more people to come with their complaints,” he said.

Yogi Adityanath had suspended Janata Darshan in Lucknow last year when the pandemic began and had decided to meet people after the decline in coronavirus positive cases.

However, he continued to meet people in Gorakhpur during his numerous visits there.
