Constantly monitor home isolation patients: CM

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday called for total precaution in rural areas and continuous monitoring of home isolation patients.

If any patient’s health slips, his immediate admission in hospital must be ensured for better treatment, an official communication said.

The Chief Minister was holding a virtual meeting with 18 block level officials of Raipur, Durg, and Surguja divisions from his official residence-cum-office.

He reviewed the status of Covid-19, preventive measures, progress of vaccination, and arrangement of treatment to positive patients.

Asking officials to regularly monitor private hospitals, he said they should not overcharge the patients against rates fixed by the government.

Baghel said places where mines and factories are operational, the administration should ensure strict implementation of Covid protocol.
