Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 Points Table: Updated Points table after India vs Bangladesh Clash

Asia Cup 2025 Super Four Updated Points Table: India romped to a 41-run win against Bangladesh on Wednesday and qualified for the Asia Cup final on September 28. Abhishek Sharma was the pick of the India batters as he again got the Men in Blue off to a blering start with a quickfire 75. But the other India star batters like captain Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Shivam Dube were sent back cheaply.
Defending the 168-run target, India on the back of a lethal spin attack led Kuldeep Yadav, who took 3 wickets, strangled the Bangladesh batters to skittle them out for 127. Jsprit Bumrah and Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets apiece as well. India’s win means that Sri Lanka, with back to back losses, were eliminated while Pakan and Bangladesh will meet again on Thursday with the winner joining India in the final.
On Tuesday, Pakan bounced back from their loss to India on Sunday with a five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka which helped them rise to second spot in the Super 4 standings at the Asia Cup. Bowling first, Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed three wickets while Haris Rauf and Hussain Talat claimed two wickets each to restrict Sri Lanka to a score of 133/8. Only Kamindu Mendis could manage a half century for the island nation on the day. In return, Pakan almost stumbled through the chase, before a unbeaten stand of 58 runs off 41 between Hussain Talat and Mohammad Nawaz helped them knock off the runs needed for victory.
