The Council of Ministers has approved the purchase of 17 new vehicles to the State Property Department. There will be five Innova Crista, five Scarpio and seven Honda City cars. About 2.64 crore will be spent on their purchase. According to state government spokesman Siddharthnath Singh, auction of old vehicles equal to the number of vehicles being purchased has been done. Only new vehicles are being purchased for their fulfillment. This time, new vehicles are being arranged in view of the possibility of the increase of specialization in Kumbh Mela. Along with the ministers, many senior officials have also been writing letters to change their vehicles.
