Our main objective is to double the income of farmers by 2022 with the help of MNREGA: Yogi Adityanath

Chief Minister Yogi is now fond of getting bigger work from Adityanath Manrega. In Lucknow today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath indicated this in the ‘MNREGA and Agriculture convergence’ workshop at Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the officials now campaign for awareness on MNREGA. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed that to carry out a comprehensive campaign to make people aware about the activities involved in MNREGA. Of the 260 works of MNREGA, 164 are related to agriculture. He said that if people were aware of them or if they were properly implemented, then the picture of farming had changed. He said that in most cases it was misused. Now the intention of the state government is clear on MNREGA. Therefore, it can be a big advantage in the agriculture sector. The Chief Minister said that our main objective is to double the income of farmers till 2022 with the help of MNREGA.

Yogi Adityanath said that in the plain part of Ganga, we have the credit to bring the river Ganga to Bhagiratha. Why are their descendants today? Now the rivers are dead. Day by day water crisis is going deeper. Due to this our three cropped cultivation has become a cropped. In 13 years, the number of blocks related to groundwater crisis has increased 12 times. With the help of MNREGA, dead rivers can also be made alive. He said that this happened in Pilibhit, Bareilly, Bhadohi, Lalitpur and Azamgarh in the state and why can not it be done in other places. For the betterment, everyone will make a little effort and the results will be good. Farmers’ suicidal will not come. He also instructed MNREGA to help in making organic manure from Parli.

The first time a PM thought to double the income of the farmers

Yogi Adityanath said that for the first time since independence, a prime minister has thought about doubling the income of farmers in a set time. It is certain that before the sowing, after sowing and harvesting, it is possible to increase the income of farmers with the help of MNREGA. It is also necessary for the prosperity of the farmers and the country.

The Chief Minister said that illegal slaughterhouses were closed and people made a lot of noise about the loss of livestock and farming. We have also arranged for him. In every municipal corporation and in the second phase, big houses are being constructed in every district. It will run only with the help of local people. Now, such houses of Lalitpur, Kanupar and Banda etc. are also running.

On this occasion, the Rural Development Minister mentioned the independent charge, Dr.Mehendra Singh Sarkar being in the interest of the farmers. Dr. Pratibha Kumar, Commissioner of Agricultural Production of the state said that apart from Lucknow’s concert to link Khetibadi from MNREGA, there will be a meeting in Meerut, Jhansi and Gorakhpur. In this, the suggestions from the communication of farmers and experts will be sent to the center. After discussions between the Center and the Policy Commission, it will be implemented.

Farmers from 25 districts of five divisions took part

Farmers of 25 districts of Lucknow, Allahabad, Faizabad, Devipatan, Kanpur and Azamgarh division participated in the seminar. After the inauguration, there was a discussion on linking of MNREGA with agriculture to scientists and farmers.
