Padmavati: Latest buzz about Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s film will make fans happy

Mumbai: Not too long ago, there were reports suggesting that Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Padmavati’ release has been postponed to February next year because the film is far from completion.

Fans were upset on learning that the film may not release on November 17 this year. But here’s some information that will make moviegoers happy.

According to a report in India.com, ‘Padmavati’ will release as per schedule. The Deepika and Shahid have reportedly completed their scenes. Only a few scenes of Ranveer are left.

“The team has been working day and night, toiling hard to complete the film. Major portions are already shot and the film is in the post-production stage. Deepika has completed her parts, while Shahid only had 20 days of shoot remaining. He too is done and has started dubbing for Padmavati just today. As for Ranveer, he has only two days of shoot left,” India.com quoted the source as saying.

Shahid, who plays Rawal Ratan Singh took to Instagram Tuesday to share a photograph with a caption – “Time to dub. #padmavati (sic).”

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Padmavati’ inspired by one of the most signification chapters of Indian history has been in news since its inception. The shooting of the film was stalled and the sets were vandalised on a couple of occasions by protestors who felt that the filmmaker was distorting history.
