Purvanchal Express-Way: CM Yogi will be ready in 24 months

On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Amethi, Congress President, Rahul Gandhi’s parliamentary constituency, to conduct terrestrial inspection of Amethi, Purvanchal Expressway. Here he said that the Purvanchal expressway will be ready in 24 months. The farmers will be given proper compensation for land acquisition. Along with this, the roads which will be damaged during construction will also be repaired.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s plane market reached at around 1:30 in the village of Bhatmo in Shukul. During this time Chak Chowband system was seen around. CM was welcomed by Gulab. After meeting with top officials, take stock of the Purvanchal Expressway. After this, the CM Yogi sailed for Sultanpur.

On the other hand, there is a stir between the top officials from the information of the visit of CM. Anurag Arya, Superintendent of Police on the helipad of CM, also took stock of the security arrangements.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had to come to Bhatmoy on December 3. For which the administration has been stirring for many days. However, the program was later canceled.

354 km long Purvanchal expressway

Lucknow and Ghazipur will be connected through the 354 km long Purvanchal Expressway. This expressway will be 6 lane wide. According to the information, there is also a plan to expand its 8-lane in the future. The approximate cost of this expressway is estimated at Rs 23,349 crore. The estimated cost of civil construction is being reported as Rs 11,836 crore (without GST).

People of UP will get the maximum benefit from this expressway, it will be connected to the main road for connecting villages with distance of 10 km on the crossing roads. Due to this expressway, 9 UP will come from UP, along with Lucknow, this expressway will reach Barabanki, Amethi, Faizabad, Sultanpur, Ambedkarnagar, Azamgarh and Mauj Ghazipur. This expressway will be connected with Varanasi, a parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a separate link road. A total of seven railway over bridges have to be constructed on expressway. Apart from this, 7 big and 112 small bridges will also be constructed. 11 interchange and seven toll plaza will be built on Purvanchal Expressway. According to the plan, construction of Purvanchal Expressway is to be constructed 36 months ie 2021.
