Sadbhavani tribute to Atalji in Vidhan Sabha, proceedings of the House adjourned till Monday

Lucknow: After the first day of the monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh state assembly, on Thursday, after paying homage to former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the proceedings of the House were postponed till Monday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presented a condolence resolution on the demise of Vajpayee as the leader of the House, which was supported by the Sohail Dev, the Bharatiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) and his party, besides the Samajwadi Party (SP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Congress.

On the other hand, before the proceedings of the proceedings, SP MLAs protested against the statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh outside the assembly. SP MLAs raised slogans against the government for the payment of sugarcane farmers, along with the Balika house scam in Deoria and the issue of law and order.

Yogi while reading the condolence proposal in the House said that Mother India has lost one of its premises due to the demise of the great leader of the country.
