Salman Khan asked Armaan Malik to ‘lose weight’ for ‘shirtless’ music video, flipped after his transformation: ‘Yeh tujhe daraane ke liye tha’ | Bollywood News

Farah Khan and her cook Dilip are back with another fun vlog. And this time, the dynamic duo visited singer Armaan Malik and his wife, fashion influencer Aashna Shroff’s residence in Mumbai. Before going to their house in the morning, Dilip packed a casserole of the special junglee mutton for them. In the video, Aashna revealed he and Armaan will be competing making Sindhi shakshuka and scrambled eggs. During the vlog, the singer revealed that Salman Khan gave him and his brother Amaal Malik their big break in his film Jai Ho, when they were just teenagers.
After giving a glimpse of their house tour, Armaan and Aashna opened up about their love story and how they met online for the first time. Farah then recalled how she has worked on many songs with the singer’s father, music director Daboo Malik, and uncle Abu Malik. Then, Armaan revealed that he got his first break because of superstar Salman Khan. “At the age of 16, I made a pop album and Salman bhai heard that. I had the craze to become India’s Justin Bieber,” he shared.

The singer further added, “Salman bhai said that I shouldn’t release this album because he wanted to use 1-2 songs for his film Jai Ho. That’s how our Bollywood debut happened. In one of the songs, he put me and Amaal in the beginning of the video. He said that we will be shirtless but I told him that this wouldn’t be possible, we both are healthy kids. He put me on a rigorous dance and workout schedule, I lost 10-15 kgs. I was looking my leanest. But later, he said that it was a joke, yeh tujhe daraane ke liye tha, and I don’t have to be shirtless.”
They then moved towards the kitchen to cook their own special type of eggs. Armaan Malik revealed how his collaboration with English songwriter-singer Ed Sheeran happened in the song 2 Step. Towards the end of the vlog, Farah Khan handed over a few gifts to the couple. The choreographer-filmmaker enjoyed both egg dishes for breakfast as Dilip ate it with their cook Sheetal.
