Thailand and Cambodia agree on ASEAN observers for ceasefire, Thai miner says | World News

Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to allow regional bloc ASEAN to act as observers of the ceasefire between the two neighbours, Thailand’s Acting Miner of Defence Nattaphon Narkphanit said on Thursday.
The two countries have also agreed to keep communications open and use bilateral mechanisms, he said in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur after a meeting with his Cambodian counterpart.
