Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal’s huge house reminds Farah Khan of Mehboob Studio; has floating tv, entertainment corner, hot tub | Bollywood News

Farah Khan, along with her longtime cook Dilip, recently visited actors Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Khan at their Mumbai residence—an expansive, grand home that left Farah comparing it to nothing less than a film studio. They were also joined Sonakshi and Zaheer’s mothers, Poonam Sinha and Mumtaz Ratnasi, as the family came together to cook Champaran mutton using a special garam masala gifted to Poonam royalty.Even before entering the house, Farah and Dilip were stunned its scale. While waiting for the couple to open the main door, Dilip remarked, “Why is this door so huge? Looks like we are about to enter a studio.”
Farah instantly agreed, adding, “It’s so big that it looks like a studio.”
As she stepped inside, Farah couldn’t help but ask Sonakshi, “Is this a house? Or is it a studio?” Playing along, Sonakshi quipped, “We are taking bookings for shooting.”
Farah continued joking, “The fact that y’all have constructed a Mehboob Studio of your own,” before adding, “Do y’all like run from one end to another?”
Sonakshi responded hopping onto a manual three-wheel kids scooty and said, “For that, we have this… we use this to go from one end to another.”
Farah then shared, “I was wondering what’s taking them so long to build their house… ‘Yeh Taj Mahal ban hi raha hai tab se’… Now I know.”Story continues below this ad
Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Khan’s house blends two themes
The couple revealed that their home blends two dinct themes and is divided into two sections. Zaheer’s side, which they call New York, is vibrant and colourful, featuring a blue sofa, a bright red fridge, and a bold yellow couch. Sonakshi, on the other hand, prefers a softer palette, leaning towards beige and white.
Zaheer’s section also features a colourful painting of the couple. Looking at it, Farah joked, “Why is Sonakshi standing with Sonu Sood?”
As Sonakshi burst out laughing, she clarified, “This is no Sonu Sood, it is Zaheer. Actually, when our friend in Nepal got to know about our engagement, he made this for us and gifted us.”

Farah then explored their entertainment corner, which featured a stunning bar. Looking at the lavish setup, she joked to Dilip, “Why don’t you buy a flat in this building?” Dilip promptly replied, “Ma’am dengi.”Story continues below this ad
Pointing at the massive television, Farah exclaimed, “What the hell is this TV? What is this? Did you guys just make a theatre inside your house?”
Zaheer explained, “So this is the floating TV. We wanted it to feel like the TV is floating in the air.”
A shocked Farah asked, “But, won’t this fall?” They reassured her with a firm “Never.” Zaheer added, “I have sat on that TV after it was fixed to check its strength.”

Sonakshi revealed that Zaheer was very clear about one thing: everything in the house had to be sturdy enough for him to dance on.Zaheer shared, “This side of the house looked very bachelorish, but after she came, she made it very gharelu with plants and stuff.”

YouTube star Dilip wants to rent Sonakshi’s old house
Dilip jokingly asked, “If y’all have shifted to this new house, who is living in your old house?” Poonam replied, “It is empty.” Dilip quipped back, “Rent it to me.”
Sonakshi then showed Farah her in-house vanity—a closed corner with mirrors all around. The couple also showcased their lavish bedroom, which featured a walk-in wardrobe and a striking red fridge.Story continues below this ad
Sonakshi revealed, “Our common friend, Huma Qureshi, gifted us this red fridge as a housewarming and wedding gift because she knows Zaheer loves colours.”
She also displayed her massive jewellery collection, which she described as “fake,” along with her collection of bags. Farah joked, “This Chanel bag is more expensive than your stuff, Zaheer.”
On the balcony, the couple even has a jacuzzi, which Dilip amusingly compared to a well.
The group then decided to cook together to celebrate Zaheer’s upcoming birthday. While prepping, Sonakshi shared, “My mother-in-law is too camera shy. She has never come for my vlog. Sonakshi Sinha reacts to pregnancy rumours
Pregnancy jokes soon followed.
Farah laughed and said, “Sonakshi has been pregnant ever since she tied the knot with Zaheer.” She added, “I have been pregnant for the past 16 months.”
The couple then introduced Farah and Dilip to their multiple house helps. Looking around, Farah remarked, “Have never seen so many people in one kitchen. 11 people in the kitchen.” The count included the couple, Farah, Dilip, and both mothers.
Poonam finally prepared the Champaran mutton for the guests. While cooking, she revealed, “I have got my special garam masala, which Maharana of Sehlana had given me as a gift.”Story continues below this ad
