Who was Riddhi Thakkar, Mumbai biker who died in Chhattisgarh accident at 24?

A Mumbai-based biker was killed on Wednesday morning after her motorcycle was hit an unidentified heavy vehicle in Chhattisgarh’s Balod drict, police said. The victim was identified as Riddhi Thakkar. Thakkar was part of a 23-member biking group that was travelling to the Bastar region. She was a resident of Kandivali West.At the time of her accident, she was riding from Mumbai to Raipur via Nagpur. Thakkar was part of a 23-member biking group that was travelling from Mumbai to Bastar.She lost her life on August 12 after colliding with a heavy vehicle. She was riding a Bajaj Avenger at the time of the accident.Thakkar was rushed to a health centre in Charama for treatment after the crash. After her condition worsened, she was transferred to a private hospital in Dhamtari. Doctors there examined her and confirmed that she had succumbed to her injuries.Riddhi Thakkar maintained an active presence on social media – she had over 18,000 followers on Instagram where she posted under the handle @gearglimpse54. She had shared an Instagram post hours before her death.Thakkar also posted videos of her rides on YouTube.Her YouTube bio described her as a “passionate biker” who was carving her own path “in a world where the throttle doesn’t care about gender.”On Instagram, she also described herself as a “makeup art”.
