CG Reports Two Fresh COVID-19 Cases; Death Toll and Recuperative Count Stagnant

RAIPUR: Out of the 185 new cases reported the Minry of Health and Family Welfare, Bhupesh Baghel ruled the state has reported 2 fresh cases of COVID-19 at a positivity rate of 0.20 percent taking the tally of active cases to 11,77,743.
The death toll remained unchanged at 14,416 and so is the recuperated counts- that is 11,63,595. both the cases were reported from the capital city Raipur, an health care official said.
Officials have been holding meetings to review the COVID-19 situation across their regions. The Centre on Wednesday wrote to all states and UTs to ramp up their efforts in testing and tracking the infected cases. All transport authorities have been instructed to set up sample collection desks and conduct genome sequencing of international arrivals.
The sudden uptick in COVID-19 cases in China, the USA, Brazil, North Korea, and Japan has prompted authorities to re-introduce COVID- norms.
