Another Spell of Rain Likely in CG and MP

NEW DELHI: The rRegional Meteorological Department has issued an alert predicting isolated rainfall with lighting and thunderstorm across several dricts of CG.
As per the forecast,11 dricts may receive rainfall and lightning in the afternoon today.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a Western Durbance seen as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakan and its neighbourhood in lower and middle tropospheric levels and a cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Rajasthan & adjoining Haryana in lower tropospheric levels. Meanwhile, a trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over northeast Rajasthan to south Assam in lower tropospheric levels. Another trough/wind discontinuity runs from Bihar to South Interior Karnataka in lower tropospheric levels.
Maximum temperatures are expected to rise over central India two to four degree Celsius after two days.
Meanwhile in MP, a yellow alert has been issued for rain and thundershowers with lightning for Sagar, Rewa, Jabalpur and Shahdol divisions and dricts like Betul, Sidhi and Singrauli.
