Chhattisgarh CM Defends Congress, Criticizes Film Controversy
Raipur- In response to the recent no-confidence motion in the Chhattisgarh assembly, Chief Miner Bhupesh Baghel emphasized that such motions are a natural part of democracy, allowing the opposition to express their lack of trust in the government while also providing an opportunity for the ruling party to showcase their achievements. He stated that the opposition made promises during the previous elections. Still, when the Congress government took office, many of those promises were left unfulfilled, which included no loan waivers for farmers or unemployment allowances for the youth.
The Chief Miner pointed out that the Congress is now mainly limited to one family, with Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi attempting to save the party. He stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh has a strong organization and has been instrumental in improving the state’s welfare schemes, transforming it from a “bimaru” state to a developed one.
Baghel also criticized the inappropriate use of the Holocaust as a metaphor in a recent Bollywood film titled “Bawaal,” expressing concern that such portrayal trivializes one of hory’s most tragic events and causes pain to those affected. He called for more responsible content curation platforms like Amazon to avoid promoting insensitive content.
The Chief Miner highlighted his government’s achievements and defended the Congress against various political controversies and challenges the party faces in the entertainment industry.
