Police raid house, 4 found in objectionable condition
RAIPUR: High-voltage drama ensued when police carried out a raid at a house in Kachna Road housing board colony and caught two boys and girls in an objectionable state on Monday morning. Both the girls hailing from Nagpur and Mumbai were reportedly minors. Police have seized some suspicious stuff from their residence.
Based on the complaints made by the residents of the colony, police raided a house at around 4 am. The girls entered into a brawl with police and residents. They threatened the residents of revenge once they were out of police custody, eye witnesses said. The girls also abused them and told the police that the allegations were false.
The residents had raised doubts over their suspicious activities indicating that they were running a sex racket in the residential colony. They had also complained to the police that there was frequent movement of men in the house at odd timings after midnight.
Police said that they had also received complaints about honking at odd hours outside girls’ house, blaring music while the girls and their guests often get drunk and make noises, creating disturbance. On Sunday night, residents lost their cool and made a complaint with the police.
Police said that the girls belonged to Nagpur and Mumbai and said that they were here in search of a job.
Police during the raid seized hukka, liquor bottles and other objectionable items from their house.
The girls and two boys were taken in custody and were being questioned.
