Yogi’s report card ‘filled with lies’, says Priyanka

Hitting out at the Yogi Adityanath government on completing three years in office, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said the report card of the government was “filled with lies” while Samajwadi Party gave zero out of 10 to Yogi’s achievement.

Earlier, chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a press conference on the occasion of his government completing three years and announced the achievement of his dispensation.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party government of UP is releasing its report card. In this report card filled with lies, big claims have been made about women’s safety. But after the horrific Unnao incident, the incident in Lakhimpur today exposed the claims of women safety. When will the government wake up?” Priyanka Gandhi said in a tweet.
“Dream big, do big work, only then the state can grow,” commented Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, while reacting to the report card presented by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

“The BJP government just believes in propaganda but it should be supported with truth and facts,” Yadav said, saying that Yogi Adityanath and BJP leaders believe that spreading lies a hundred times makes it true and so they are just following that rule and doing nothing on ground but making false propaganda.

The former chief minister of UP said that since the BJP government assumed office three years back, not a single project had been completed.

He alleged that Yogi Adityanath was not even honest towards promises made by him during election campaign.
Yadav said that youths, farmers, women, businessmen and everyone was feeling cheated by the present government as it had only burdened the people with rising prices, taxes etc besides giving a jungle raj by its failure to maintain law and order.

The SP chief alleged that crime was at its peak in the present BJP rule and whosoever dared to come on road to expose the failure or excesses of the government faced the wrath of the present dispensation in the form of police case and being putting behind the bars.

Yadav said he would give zero out of ten to the Yogi Adityanath government as not a single new project had been started by this government.

Terming as fake the report card presented by the Yogi Adityanath government on completion of three years in office, Rashtriya Lok Dal national spokesman Anil Dubey said the three years of BJP rule were very disappointing.

He said the UP government had failed to carry out development in the past three year of the present dispensation.
“Farmers, youths, women, labourers, people of backward class and the downtrodden feel let by the Yogi government. The people had given BJP a thumping majority in the hope of seeing development and uplift of their lives but the government has disappointed them,” he said.

Ridiculing the BJP claim of having worked to the satisfaction of every class of society and creating new job opportunity, Dubey said the farmers did not get their arrears while the BJP promise to doubling their income was still a far fetched dream.

Dubey said the massacre in Sonbhadra, death of children due to lack of oxygen at the BRD Medical College hospital in Gorakhpur, rapes in Unnao, Lakhimpur and Shahjahanpur were some of the incidents which belied the BJP government’s claims.
