CM to dedicate 620 Covid beds in two hosps today
The health care in Uttar Pradesh will get a boost with the addition of 620 Covid beds in two newly constructed hospital buildings in Lucknow and Gorakhpur on Monday.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will dedicate both the hospital buildings on Monday to add the facilities for the COVID-19 patients.
Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi said here on Sunday that on Monday morning, the chief minister would inaugurate a 300-bed new hospital complex at the BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur.
He said in the evening, the chief minister would inaugurate the 320-bed ultra modern hospital building of the King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in Lucknow.
Both these hospitals will have the latest medical facilities for the COVID-19 patients. In the new KGMU hospital, there will be 100 exclusive ICU beds.
State Medical Education Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna will be present during both the inaugurations.
