Micro containment zone if two or more Covid patients

A micro containment zone will be made if more than two Covid-19 patients are found in an area in Raipur district, the government announced on Monday.

Raipur Collector and District Magistrate Saurabh Kumar has issued an order in this regard, an official communication said.

The Collector has appointed Additional Collector and Additional District Magistrate N.R. Sahu as the Nodal Officer to ensure all necessary action to declare a micro-containment zone.

Last week, the Collector made it mandatory for people in Raipur district to undergo Covid-19 test if they come in contact with a Corona positive person or else a FIR will be filed against them. On Sunday, Chhattisgarh reported 165 Covid cases, including 16 positive ones in Raipur district. There were two deaths in the state.
