More than 24 lakh people treated with Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme
More than 24 lakh people are being treated free of cost through Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Swasthya. Medical teams of Mobile Medical Unit of Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme are reaching out to the slums of the poor in the cities and providing treatment to the needy people free of cost. Poor people could not reach the hospital due to many reasons. Due to which he could not be treated. But Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel understood the suffering of the poor.
Under the Mukhyamantri Swasthya Slum Yojana, more than 24 lakh people have been treated in the slums of urban areas of Chhattisgarh. Vehicles of mobile medical units are roaming around the cities and treating the poor.
In order to provide home access health facilities to the people residing in the slums of urban areas of Chhattisgarh state, the Urban Administration and Development Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh with the objective of providing home access health facilities to the people residing in the slums of the urban areas of Chhattisgarh state. So far, more than 24 lakh people have been provided free treatment by the mobile medical team under the Chief Minister’s Urban Slum Health Scheme run by.
Under this, so far 34 thousand 370 camps have been provided by Mobile Medical Unit team in the slums of 169 urban bodies of the state, free of cost, and medicines have been given to the people by examining and treating them. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria has directed the departmental officers to conduct health check-up and provide free medicines to the needy people of urban areas.
In view of the success of the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel to provide home access health facilities to the people through this scheme, on 31 March 2022, it was expanded to the urban body areas of the entire state and 60 more mobile medical units were started. Under this scheme, doctors, paramedical teams, 120 mobile medical units equipped with medical equipment and medicines are now providing health facilities to the people in the slums of the urban areas of the entire state.
Under the Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Health Scheme, so far 4 lakh 88 thousand 533 patients have been provided with the facility of pathology test and free medicines have been given to more than 19 lakh 97 thousand 532 patients. 2 lakh 38 thousand 960 workers are among the patients benefited under this scheme.
