Two CISF Jawans Suspected of Monkeypox; Samples Sent to NIV
Samples of two suspected Monkeypox patients sent to NIV Pune.Two CISF Jawans were admitted to Jagdalpur Medical college.The Jawans presented rashes on the body raising suspicion for Monkeypox infection.
Raipur: Samples of two CISF Jawans suspected of having Monkeypox have been sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune for examination.
According to sources, the HOD of Medicine Department, Jagdalpur Medical college confirmed about two Jawans suspected to be positive cases of monkeypox were admitted to the hospital.
As per sources, two CISF personnel posted at Bacheli Dantewada drict presented rashes on their bodies indicating monkeypox. Further probe revealed that one out of the Jawans had a travel hory to Delhi.
