AAP Raises Paddy Procurement Issue in Chhattisgarh Ahead of Elections
Raipur: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made an announcement regarding paddy procurement in Chhattisgarh. This announcement came to ensure that AAP has an upper hand in the Assembly elections. Sandeep Pathak, MP in Rajya Sabha, said that paddy will be procured at a high rate from the farmers if AAP wins the elections. Pathak criticized both the Congress and the BJP, accusing them of failing to deliver on their promises and deceiving the people despite having multiple opportunities to govern the state.
Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwat Mann will be present in Chhattisgarh on July 4. Pathak made this announcement telling about the massive party rally in Bilaspur. During a ceremony held at a hotel on the outskirts of Raipur, many newly-appointed office-bearers of the party took the oath of office.
Highlighting the track record of AAP in improving schools in Delhi under Kejriwal’s leadership, Pathak emphasized that if given the chance, AAP can bring positive changes to Chhattisgarh as well. He said that BJP and Congress have not delivered what they promised. He added that both of the parties got opportunities but failed to provide what they said.
The announcement AAP regarding higher paddy procurement rates aims to resonate with farmers in Chhattisgarh, a significant constituency in the upcoming elections. The party’s focus on addressing agricultural concerns and delivering on its promises could attract support from voters who feel disillusioned with the traditional political parties.
