All eligible persons should get Covid booster dose: Minister
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prabhuram Choudhary said that all eligible persons must get Covid vaccine (booster) dose. In the Covid Vaccine Amrit Mahotsav, the Covid-19 precaution dose is being administered free of cost to all eligible persons above 18. Health Minister Dr. Chowdhary was inaugurating the Drive-in Vaccination at Hotel Lake View Ashok Open Theater on Thursday.
Chaudhary said that the Drive in Vaccination has been initiated by M.P. Tourism, UNICEF and NHM. For this, a vaccination center has been set up in the open theater complex of Hotel Lake View Ashok. Any eligible person passing by can stop at the vaccination center and get Covid-19 precaution dose administered. This facility is helpful in getting handicapped and golden agers vaccinated easily. Health Minister Dr. Chaudhary said that with this innovation, more than 50 thousand people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in the first vaccination campaign.
Chaudhary said that the Covid vaccine is very important. In the third wave after vaccination, the Covid vaccine provided protection and very few of those who got Corona had to be hospitalised.
Minister has appealed to all the citizens to get the precautionary dose of Corona. Director NHM (Vaccination) Dr. Santosh Shukla, General Manager M.P. Tourism Shri KR Saad, Shri S.P. Singh, Communication Specialist UNICEF Madhya Pradesh Shri Anil Gulati and Dr. Vandana Bhatia were present.
