‘Baghel challenging Congress leadership’

Former Chief Minister and BJP leader Raman Singh on Friday alleged that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s ‘show of strength’ was a challenge to the Congress national leadership.

He said in a statement that Baghel’s show of support to him was not aimed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but the Congress High Command.

With the backing of his MLAs and Ministers, Baghel was challenging the central leadership of the Congress, Raman Singh said. He was emitting a message that if he was disturbed, the consequences would not be good, the BJP leader said.
