Baghel flays disinvestment plan of Raipur railway station

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday came down heavily on the Modi government on its reported move to hand over the Raipur railway station among many others to private companies.

Amid media reports, Baghel tweeted: “Are the railway stations which you are trying to sell off built by your grandfather? Are the airports you have sold off built by your grandfather?”

The Raipur railway station, an A-1 model station, is said to be one of 400 stations in the country which the Modi government plans to privatize.
