Baghel urges Rly Minister to restore suspended trains
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday urged Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to withdraw the decision of suspending for a month the operation of 23 trains that pass through the state.
Following a notification issued by the Railways, the operation of these trains was cancelled for a month from April 24, an official said.
The Chief Minister tweeted that he apprised the Minister on telephone about the difficulties faced by commuters in the state.
He requested the Minister to resume the operation of these trains in public interest. The Minister promised to take a suitable decision to address the issue, he said.
