BJP demonstration, a gimmick: Congress

Dubbing them a gimmick, the Congress on Monday described the BJP protests outside police stations as an attempt to divert attention from the seriousness of the crime committed by it in the ‘Toolkit’ issue.

PCC Communication Wing Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said former Chief Minister Raman Singh is trying to protect himself using the party as a shield.

He said it has been proved by Twitter and media houses that the tweet shared by Raman Singh was a ‘manipulated media’. The documents of the Congress were forged and fabricated and were shared by BJP leaders, he said.

“The demonstrations cannot hide the truth. A wrong will always be a wrong,” he said.
