BJP to Hold Agitate Against Cong in the Ongoing SC/ST Reservation Case
Raipur: With the opposition agitated on the recent proceedings on the 58 per cent quota in jobs, a senior leader of the party along with other party members has decided to hold a protest in the Sarguja, Bastar, and Bastar divisions of the state on October 8th.
As per the notice issued, Nankumar Sai, Kedar Kashyap and Lata Usendi along with the state president of the Tribal society have called for a Chakka jam on the highways. From October 9-12, the party has also decided to launch a Har Ghar campaign to interact with tribals. The members have also decided to organize a bike rally at the block level.
Besides this from October 13-18; the party has announced to hold a sit-in protest outside the residences of the Congress MLA.
The Congress holds the Raman Singh Adminration for the reduction in the reservation of Scheduled Tribes. The Baghel Govt has moved the SC challenging the HC verdict in govt job quota reservations rise to 58 per cent. The HC on September 19th quashed the demand calling the allocation’ unconstitutional’.
