Cement social fabric, remove disparity: CM
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday urged organizations to come up with programmes to strengthen the social fabric, connect with society and work to remove social disparity.
He was addressing the 1005th birth anniversary celebrations at Karma Dham in Krishna Nagar here on the eve of ‘Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti’.
He offered prayers at Mata Karma temple in Karma Dham. He also performed Bhoomi Pujan for the foundation stone of the auditorium to be built in Mata Karma Dham. He also planted a ‘Rudraksh’ plant in the premises, an official communication said.
Extending greetings and wishes, he said as per message of Mata Karma, if people have unwavering faith, reverence and dedication in mind, then there is no goal which cannot be achieved.
It is unique that every village in the state celebrates the ‘Bhakta Mata Karma Jayanti’ with devotion. Though organized by the Sahu community, people from all communities actively take part in the event.
Everyone should utilize the strength of the organization to eliminate bitterness and work for social harmony and brotherhood to connect the society, he said.
Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said an atmosphere of social organization, harmony and brotherhood should be maintained.
