CG Farmer Honoured Union Agriculture Miner in Pune
Pune: It was a proud moment for the people of Chhattisgarh, when a farmer from the state, Vipul Parmar was felicitated Union Agriculture Miner Narendra Singh Tomar at a function organized National Horticulture Board, New Delhi in Pune. Parmar has been honored for working on the topic of expanding the horticulture value chain, and the opportunities and possibilities around it.
In this ceremony, 19 other farmers from across the country were also honored, out of which Vipul Parmar was the only name from Chhattisgarh. Vipul Parmar runs a nursery on Dhamdha Road in Durg and keeps on researching new possibilities in the field of horticulture and agriculture. In this program, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Miner Narendra Singh Tomar have said that our farmers, like the soldiers, are working for the defense of the country.
Farmers make many sacrifices to fill the stomach of the people of the country. To work in both the defense and agriculture sectors is to work for the country. Those working in these fields earn a livelihood, as well as strengthen the soul of the country. The program was organized the Union Minry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in which, people related to horticulture including farmers, FPOs, startups, and bankers were present.
